Where TickTick is the better choice
- You want habits, a focus timer, and an Eisenhower Matrix next to your tasks.
- You want a richer calendar with external calendar integration, or natural-language task entry.
- Price: TickTick Premium costs less per year, and it has a free plan.
Where Ensō is the better choice
- You write: Ensō Notes is a full page-tree workspace with databases, not a notes list.
- You plan projects with dependencies and a Gantt chart, or keep a reading list with offline copies of articles.
- You want documented offline support everywhere, including the browser, and end-to-end encryption on chosen items.
Switching from TickTick
Ensō has no one-click importer for other apps yet. Notes accepts Markdown files (Import .md in the Notes sidebar), and tasks, events, and projects are entered by hand.
