Support
Everything below is a real way to get unstuck. If none of it helps, email us — a person reads every message.

It helps enormously if you include: the platform you're on (web, Windows, macOS, iPhone, iPad), the app version from Settings → About, and what you expected to happen versus what did.
Documentation
The user guide covers every part of the app — getting started, each module (todo, calendar, reading list, projects, notes), and guides for sync, vaults, import and export, and billing. The FAQ answers the questions we're asked most, including offline behaviour, how sync resolves conflicts, and installer warnings on Windows and macOS.
Account & sign-in
- Forgot your password? Use password reset; the link is valid for a short window and signs out your other devices.
- Didn't get the verification email? Check spam, then request a new one from the banner at the top of the app.
- Vault password. Vaults are end-to-end encrypted and we never see the key — if you lose a vault password, we cannot recover that content. Everything outside the vault is unaffected.
- Deleting your account. Settings → Danger zone, or the billing page. Deletion is permanent and removes your data from our servers. Export first if you want a copy.
Managing your subscription
Where you manage your Ensō Premium subscription depends on where you bought it.
- Bought on iPhone or iPad — the subscription is handled by Apple. Manage or cancel it in the iOS Settings app → your name → Subscriptions, or from inside Ensō via the billing page. Moved to a new device or reinstalled? Use Restore Purchases on the billing page. Billing questions and refunds for App Store purchases go through Apple Support.
- Bought on the web or desktop — the subscription is handled by Stripe. Open the billing portal from the billing page in the app to change your payment method, download invoices, or cancel.
Deleting your Ensō account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in the iOS Settings app first.
Full details, including what happens when a subscription lapses, are in the billing guide. Pricing is on the pricing page.
Your data
Ensō is offline-first: every device keeps its own database, so your data stays readable and editable even if sync is paused or your subscription lapses. You can export everything at any time from Settings → Data, and import it back into another account.
